My friend might be selling his recently deceased grandfather's fourth-gen 1969 Dodge Dart 4-door in black, similar to the one here. His Gramps put a lot of work into it shortly before he died. He's wondering where to look for pricing info. I tried ebay, cars.com etc. But the only Darts for sale we found are GT coupes. I also tried looking for Dart forums, but they're all for that new one that no one wants. Where should he look?

At me. I will give him $1.37 and 9/10 for it.

You can try autotraderclassics.com, but they might have mostly V8 cars too.

If it were gold I would buy it from you in a heart beat. It was the last car my grand dad had. Great memories in a car like that.

try Hagerty's evaluation tool for their insurance. They claim to have accurate pricing as they track all the auctions.

Use Nada guide. These are the prices assuming it's a six cylinder.

It's what I linked to, all they have values listed for is 2 door v8's. but he might be able to use the vin.

Value on a Sedan is hard to figure. Everyone wants their A bodies with 2 doors, not 4.
What do you mean by "a bunch of work" and what's it's actual condition?
Just being old doesn't always mean $$$.

We're not thinking big $$$ here. It's just an old car and we're trying to figure out what to do with it. The four doors definitely complicates things, hopefully someone wants this car so it doesn't end up getting crushed.

Don't get me wrong. I wasn't insinuating that you were looking for big money.
Knowing the specifics of the car in question will help.
For a sedan I'd recommend checking sites that specialize in old cop cars.

It's all good, simple misunderstanding. As for specifics, we're talking about replaced hoses, belts, battery, fluids... general maintenance things. It's better than barn find condition, but it's not concourse either. If you have any links to some old cop car sites, let me know. Thanks for the help!
